WELCOME TO MY PORTFOLIO!

This is my space to share some of the projects I am most proud of.

Each one demonstrates my commitment to quality, creativity and connection.

CEO Annual Summit

In 2021 and 2022, I supported the planning and execution of the OG100 CEO Summit, an annual gathering of Ontario's top CEO's. My work included coordinating logistics, liaising with vendors, and managing timelines to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees.

By maintaining clear communication across teams and anticipating challenges, I helped deliver a high-impact event that fostered meaningful connections among leaders.

These events exceeded 80 attendees, and took place over the span of three days in Niagara On-The-Lake.  Speakers included: Tiff Macklem, Doug Ford, Chris Hadfield, Jill Heinerth, and many more.

More than a logistical achievement, the CEO Summit was about creating an environment that fostered connection, collaboration, and networking among leaders.

Contributing to its success strengthened my ability to combine strategic planning with execution, helping deliver an event that left a lasting and memorable impact on attendees.

Master's Thesis

Winning With Positivity: Optimizing Event Success through Positive Instagram Engagement at The 2025 Grammy Awards

My master's thesis covers how audiences engage with large-scale cultural events on social media, focusing on positive Instagram engagement during The 2025 Grammy Awards. My research examined how timing, content type, and audience sentiment influenced engagement patterns, revealing how digital interactions can amplify, extend, or even reshape the live event experience.

This project required a combination of theoretical grounding and practical analysis. I conducted a comprehensive literature review to situate my work within the broader field of event communication and digital media, then applied qualitative and quantitative methods to track and analyze user behavior. By bridging academic theory with real-world case study data, my thesis aimed to provide fresh insights into how major cultural events are increasingly defined not only by what happens in the physical space, but also by the conversations and connections they generate online.

Brand Deck - Canadian Environmental Law Foundation

As part of a collaborative project, I worked alongside a small team of peers to develop a comprehensive brand deck for the Canadian Executive Leadership Academy (CELA).

Our objective was to build a clear and cohesive identity system that accurately reflected the organization’s mission, values, and professional focus, and to demonstrate how that identity could be consistently communicated across a variety of platforms and materials.

Our design process focused on creating a carefully curated colour palette and typographic system that balanced professionalism with approachability. These choices were intentional: every colour, typeface, and layout decision was guided by the need to make CELA’s communications visually compelling, recognizable, and aligned with their mission.

With the foundation in place, we moved into practical applications to showcase how the brand could come to life across different formats. I helped design a branded Instagram carousel that demonstrated how CELA could communicate key ideas and engage audiences in a visually dynamic, narrative-driven way. This was complemented by a formal letterhead design, ensuring that even the most traditional, print-based communications reflected the brand’s professionalism and attention to detail. We also created additional collateral, including presentation templates and business stationery, to illustrate how the identity system could scale across both digital and print environments.

The images featured to the right, including the website landing page, Instagram carousel, and letterhead,  represent key components of the final brand package.

Together, they reflect the depth of the project: not just a visual redesign, but a fully considered communication system built to support organizational goals.

Academic Brand Deck - Visual Communications

For this project, I developed a design campaign in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, focusing on creating visual materials that were both impactful and respectful of the cause. The campaign included digital graphics, social media assets, and informational visuals designed to engage audiences and amplify key messages.

My role involved researching the movement to ensure messaging was authentic and culturally sensitive, selecting a bold yet accessible colour palette, and designing layouts that emphasized clarity and emotional resonance. Typography, iconography, and imagery were carefully chosen to balance visibility, readability, and emotional impact.

The resulting campaign aimed to raise awareness, encourage dialogue, and visually unify messaging across multiple platforms.

In a visual communications course, I designed an NHL All-Star game poster that captured the excitement and energy of the event.  This poster was designed within a given time frame. The goal was to create a simple, yet striking piece that appealed to both hockey fans and casual audiences, while clearly conveying the event’s branding and key details.

I focused on dynamic composition and visual hierarchy to create a sense of movement and intensity, reflecting the fast-paced nature of hockey.

ProCom Alumni & Events - Design Strategy

To celebrate the Master of Professional Communication (MPC) program’s 15-Year Anniversary, I led the design and execution of a multi-platform social media campaign across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. The initiative was created to not only promote the milestone event but also to showcase the program’s achievements, highlight alumni success stories, and strengthen the sense of community among students, faculty, and graduates.

My role included developing the campaign concept, creating branded visuals and messaging, and ensuring consistency across all platforms while tailoring content to the unique audiences of each channel. I built a content calendar to strategically roll out posts in the weeks leading up to the celebration, balancing promotional messaging with storytelling that reflected the program’s growth and impact.

Each platform required a tailored approach:

  • LinkedIn featured professional, milestone-focused content that celebrated the program’s growth and alumni success stories.
  • Facebook highlighted community and inclusivity, using event details and visuals to spark engagement and conversation among attendees.
  • Instagram emphasized bold visuals and shareable content, incorporating event graphics, countdown posts, and branded templates to capture attention and generate anticipation.

I ensured brand consistency across all platforms through cohesive colour palettes, typography, and messaging, while adapting tone and format to maximize reach and relevance for each audience.

My Approach

I combine strategy, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver experiences and designs that resonate with others.

By understanding goals, audiences, and context, I craft solutions that are purposeful, polished, and impactful.

Collaboration, adaptability, and curiosity guide how I work, ensuring every project reflects both thoughtful planning and creative execution.
